Ryanair’s free small bag measures up to 40 x 30 x 20cm, including wheels and handles. Ryanair publishes no weight limit for it — only the size is enforced at the gate.
On 4 September 2025, Ryanair changed the free bag size from 40 x 20 x 25cm to 40 x 30 x 20cm. Ryanair also resized its gate sizers to match.
Ryanair’s 10kg cabin bag measures up to 55 x 40 x 20cm, including wheels and handles, with a maximum weight of 10kg.
Yes. The overhead cabin bag is only included with Priority & 2 Cabin Bags, which is a paid add-on.
With Priority, yes — you can bring the 10kg cabin bag in the overhead locker and the free 40 x 30 x 20cm bag under the seat.
Yes. Turned to 40 x 25 x 20cm, it sits within the new free-bag limit — you just have 20 litres rather than the 24 litres now allowed.
